Technical site visits now announced!
We offer FREE conference passes to direct employees of transit /railroad operators and government employees. Please ensure that you use your corporate e-mail address when booking your pass.
Industry suppliers are welcome to join by purchasing a conference pass for a set fee of $995.
As an attendee your pass will include an option to select one of the technical site visits in Denver by our local partner RTD on October 24, as well as full access to our conference on October 25 & 26. Spaces on the site visits are limited so be sure to register as soon as possible.
RTD Denver Site Visits
Tour 1: Commuter Rail Maintenance Facility
Departure Time: 1:00pm
Departure Date: 24 October 2022
Duration: 3.5 hours
Details: Regional Transportation District (RTD), will host a tour of the Commuter Rail Maintenance Facility. This 250,000 square foot building of vehicle maintenance tracks, office space, and operations control center is LEED Gold certified and is the base of operations for all RTD Commuter Rail vehicle maintenance. All CR vehicles originate from this facility each revenue day, DTO Maintenance of Way headquarters here, and DTO dispatches its operated A, B, and G Lines across 65 track miles as well as dispatching the RTD-operated N Line in and out of Denver Union Station. Participants will be guided to Denver Union Station, boarding a Commuter Rail Vehicle to the maintenance facility. Once at CRMF the group is split into two smaller groups for a tour of the facility and chance to see commuter rail operations centre. On completion of the tour the group will be taken back to Denver Union Station and guided back to hotel. Closed toe shoes are required.
Tour 2: Light Rail Maintenance Facility
Departure Time: 1:00pm
Departure Date: 24 October 2022
Duration: 3.5 hours
Details: Regional Transportation District (RTD) will provide bus transport from hotel to the light rail maintenance facility. Once at the LRMF group will be split into smaller groups for a tour of the maintenance facility, shop floor, a deeper dive into an LRV as well as a tour of the RTD light rail simulator. On completion of the tour the group will be transported back to the hotel by bus. Close toe shoes are required.
